Hello World,

Welcome to the official blog of Drmetree. If you’re reading this, you’ve found your way into my digital studio—a space dedicated to the craft, the hustle, and the belief that hope is the ultimate engine for creativity.I’m stepping into this new chapter in partnership with Underdog Art Exhibit, a name that resonates deeply with how I operate. I’ve always been an underdog—someone who has faced down the “impossible” more times than I can count and kept moving forward anyway. This blog isn’t just a portfolio; it’s a testament to resilience. The Craft: From Copper to SilverFor 13 years, I have poured my energy into the intricate world of wirewrapping. It is a disciplined, tactile art form that demands patience and precision. 2025 marked a major milestone for me as I transitioned my primary medium from copper to silver. My hands tell the story of this journey. If you look closely at my work, you’re seeing the result of over a decade of developing calluses and mastering the tension of the wire. As a left-hand dominant artist, every wrap and every weave is a physical extension of my perspective. I believe that art should be felt as much as it is seen. The Philosophy: Beyond the CanvasPeople often ask what drives a person to create. For me, it’s simple: Hope drives creativity, and criticism drives productivity. I don’t shy away from the hard stuff. Whether I’m playing as a frontman in paintball, holding down first base, or navigating the complexities of the art world, I do it with 100% intensity.I’ve lived a life that has been anything but fair, but I’ve learned that forgiveness is the key to happiness. I don’t believe in limits. Whether I’m walking a mile on a good day or pitching on the mound, I refuse to let any obstacle define my capacity to produce something beautiful or meaningful.A Glimpse into the GalleryUnderdog Art Exhibit is about highlighting the relentless spirit of creators who carve their own paths. Below, I’m sharing some of my latest silver wirewrapped pieces. These represent hours of focus, 37 years of life experience, and a refusal to stay still and NEVER GIVING UP!
